Description: The oil is obtained from the berries of a West Indian tree of the myrtle family. Allspice is stimulating and vitalizing, and supports determination, nervous exhaustion, arthritis, fatigue, stiffness, flatulence, and indigestion.

Aromatic Scent: Allspice has a sweet and spicy scent, it gives a middle note with a medium aroma.

History: This evergreen tree is indigenous to the West Indies and South America. It reaches about 10 meters in height (approximately 30 feet) and begins to produce fruit in its third year. Along with the island we now know as Jamaica, Christopher Columbus discovered this sweet, pungent spice. The Spanish called it 'pimento' because the dried berries looked like dried peppercorns.
